Leav Bolender: Artist, Teacher
Home: What I Do

I create wearable art from found materials, (often called up-cycled, recycled, repurposed, and re-invented) that I scrounge from whatever is on hand. I am also developing a line of hand cut stone and silver work. I am deeply influenced by the icons and spiritual imagery of Northern New Mexico.

I volunteer with youth in the schools. I believe teachers should be paid as much as football players.

I keep Visual Journals as a reminder of my healing pathways.

I live in beautiful Northern New Mexico with my husband, two dogs and a cat.
